Patient Services Team Member

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Services Team Member at Park Parade Surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to the surgery.
- Manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing our IT system to ensure seamless data entry and retrieval.
- Respond to patient inquiries, addressing concerns and providing clear guidance on next steps.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and other duties as required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including starts and 6pm finishes, with occasional short notice cover for sickness or holiday.
