We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Services Team Member at Park Parade Surgery. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including booking, cancelling, and rescheduling appointments as needed.
- Enter patient information into our IT system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Direct patients to the appropriate staff member or department, providing clear instructions and support.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including starts and finishes outside of traditional hours.
