About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Families Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Families Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans with families, focusing on comprehensive, family-centered, and solution-focused interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide a wide range of support services, including counseling, education, and advocacy.
  • Build strong relationships with families, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their recovery.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals and families affected by substance use issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Professional qualification in a relevant field, such as social work or counseling, is advantageous.
