Our Banbury Site
The Banbury site has been part of Newly Weds Foods since 2010. Our employee team has grown, and we now employ over 250 people. We have a Bakery, Blend factory, and a dedicated Gluten Free factory. We operate various shifts in our production facilities, with on-site services including QA, Engineers, Supply Chain, Logistics, Payroll, and HR, as well as a dedicated R&D team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users, ensuring problem resolution of internal information systems and technical hardware and software support.
- Maintain the successful day-to-day operation of IT functions across the site, ensuring business continuity in a factory environment.
- Regularly maintain hardware (PC and peripherals) and ensure all system updates are performed on end-user equipment.
- Ensure the current ERP solution operates effectively from a manufacturing perspective.
- Provide new starter inductions and maintain all IT-related documentation.
- Offer multi-site cover, requiring travel and overnight accommodation in the UK and mainland Europe.
- Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 cover for production.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant IT qualification.
- Previous experience in an IT support role is advantageous.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Good technical resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Full driving license.
- Commitment to NWF Banbury values.
Benefits
- Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 depending on skills and experience.
- Location: Newly Weds Foods, Banbury.
- Working hours/pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
