Our Oxfordshire Roads to Recovery Service

Our integrated Community Drug and Alcohol Service in Oxfordshire offers a wide range of support throughout the county. Our dedicated team operates from Recovery Hubs in Oxford, Banbury, Witney, and Didcot, ensuring accessibility for individuals across the region.

Role: Families Worker

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Families Workers to join our multi-agency team within Oxfordshire Children Social Care. As a Families Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families affected by substance use. You will develop personalized support plans that address the unique needs of each family, focusing on strength-based recovery and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with families to create comprehensive and individualized recovery plans.
  • Provide a range of solution-focused interventions tailored to the specific needs of each family.
  • Work closely with other professionals within the multi-agency team to ensure coordinated support.
  • Promote positive communication and build strong relationships with families.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for families in recovery.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of families.
