Education Specialist for Students with SEN

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring equal access to the curriculum.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
- Assist in tracking student progress, communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to create a respectful classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Education, Teaching Assistance, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with SEN in a school setting.
- Understanding of various special educational needs and ability to tailor support accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 per annum
