About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special school in the Andover area. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex learning difficulties, ensuring they receive the individual attention and guidance necessary for their academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students, including one-on-one assistance and small group activities, creating an environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to achieve success.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment within the school and during extracurricular activities.
  • Implement school policies as outlined in documentation and directed by the Headteacher.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
  • Experience working with SEN/SEND students is an advantage.
  • Enthusiastic about bringing creativity and energy into the classroom.
