Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting for a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education.
The role involves working closely with teachers to provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in accessing the curriculum.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in tracking student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote a respectful classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Education, Teaching Assistance, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with SEN in a school setting.
- Ability to understand and respond to diverse special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature.
Estimated Salary: £33,000 per annum
