Job Overview

The School is an independent specialist setting in Salisbury, catering for pupils aged 11-19 with primary diagnoses of Autism and other complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with a team to provide excellent care and education for young people.
  • Support students during lessons and lead some small group interventions.
  • Work one-to-one with students when directed.
Requirements:

We require a full-time teaching assistant with strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of how to support students' mental health needs.

Key criteria include:

  • Very good level of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
