About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside our experienced teachers at TimePlan Education.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.

Job Description:

  1. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
  2. Work closely with teachers to develop and implement IEPs and adapt teaching resources.
  3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
  4. Contribute to assessing and tracking student progress, maintaining effective communication with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.
  5. Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive classroom culture.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching Assistance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN in a school setting.
  • Ability to understand and respond to diverse special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

Salary: £31,500 per annum
