Learning Support Professional for SEN School

Andover, Hampshire, United Kingdom Academics Ltd Full time

Academics Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover, which caters for young people aged 11-19 years with Autism or who have strong emotional/behavioural traits of the Autistic Spectrum. The school provides a broad, relevant, and differentiated curriculum designed to be Asperger Syndrome friendly.

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team on a full-time, possible temp to perm supply contract. You will support pupils across the school in small groups and one-to-one settings. Although experience in an SEN school would be beneficial, this is not essential. What is needed is an understanding, empathetic, and calm individual who can build positive relationships and support teachers in meeting students' individual needs.

The main school building is a large country house set in 8 acres of beautiful grounds, providing a secure setting for outdoor activities. Ideally suited to a driver due to the rural location.

To be considered for this position, you must have Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) Grades C or above, or Grades 4-9. This role offers a competitive salary, estimated at £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as access to training and career development opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone seeking a challenging yet rewarding career in education. If you are passionate about supporting young people with SEN and want to make a difference, please apply with your updated CV.
