Lead and Inspire a Team of Enterprise Account Executives

As a key member of our Pure Storage team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Enterprise Account Executives across the UK and Ireland. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our Pure Culture and Values are embedded into your team, driving success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate a team of high-performing Enterprise Account Executives to achieve exceptional results.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to hire and retain top talent, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to the extended Pure Storage team, including Sales, Marketing, and Support.
  4. Drive sales performance by closely managing and enabling the team's performance related to key performance indicators (KPIs), including pipeline growth, partner team alignment, forecast accuracy, and POC management.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partner principals, AEs, and leadership teams.
  6. Drive sales call activity and lead by example, ensuring each member of the team attains or exceeds their quota.
  7. Field travel is expected, with regular visits to our offices in London and Staines.
  8. Deliver business results, including annual bookings goal, new logo production, and AE participation at or above goal.
  9. Implement a performance management process, including weekly reviews of activities, pipeline, and root cause analysis to address any pipeline insufficiencies.
  10. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and success.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Sales leadership experience working in the region, with a proven track record of success.
  2. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate Pure Storage's value proposition.
  3. 5+ years of successful field sales experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure, with a strong understanding of IT departments and IT management.
  4. A proven ability to recruit and develop top talent, with a strong track record of associate development.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate Pure Storage's value proposition.
  6. Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem-solving.
  7. Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
  8. Proficiency in CRM and other online tools.
  9. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  10. BA/BS preferred, with a willingness to work in an open office, team environment.
  11. Ability to work in London and Staines, with regular travel to our offices.
