About This Role

Persado is a leader in Generative AI technology, empowering businesses to engage customers at scale. We're seeking a talented Sales Director to drive growth in the UK Financial Services sector.

This individual contributor role will focus on acquiring new enterprise logos and building sustainable partnerships. As a key member of the EMEA Commercial team, you'll be based in London and work closely with the Solutions Consulting team to develop comprehensive account strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver new business growth with a focus on UK enterprise Financial Services.
  2. Map out prospect organization's stakeholders, identifying relevant decision makers and budget holders to engage.
  3. Understand prospect's business strategy, goals, and revenue streams.
  4. Build business cases with the Solutions Consulting team and create compelling presentations that make Persado's products and solutions relevant to the prospect.
  5. Create and articulate compelling and simple stories for both technical audiences and C-level stakeholders.
  6. Develop approaches which create urgency with prospects to drive deals forward.
  7. Position yourself as a trusted advisor in leveraging Persado's EnterpriseAI as a revenue driver for enterprise companies.
  8. Manage contract negotiations with large, complex enterprise accounts.
  9. Possibly, generate and manage business opportunities across EMEA on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of direct B2B selling experience, with 7+ years selling to large enterprise accounts.
  • 5+ years of experience selling to Financial Services / Banks at executive level.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex agreements / deals.
  • Able to transfer our services into a commercial structure, and executing a sales cycle based on that structure.
  • Experience presenting complex topics simply to C-level stakeholders, as well as mid-management.
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and team spirit.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a collaborative and structured approach.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Technologies is a plus.
  • Aptitude for learning and staying current with industry trends.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and its various components.
