Job Summary

Coworth Park is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Co-ordinator Shift Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for supervising Guest Service Receptionists, ensuring that all required tasks are completed on a daily basis, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Guest Service Receptionists, assisting them with issues that may arise and ensuring that all tasks are completed up to standards
  • Assist with Check in and Check out, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests
  • Supervise the billing process, ensuring folios are up to date and accurate
  • Liaise directly with VIP guests, ensuring all their needs are met and exceeded
  • Deal promptly and effectively with any guest concerns, providing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Conduct a shift handover in conjunction with the Guest Service Manager at the end of each shift, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities
  • Assist the Guest Service Managers as needed, providing support and guidance to the team
  • Identify any training needs of the Guest Service Co-ordinators staff and communicate these to management, ensuring that the team is equipped to provide exceptional service
  • Carry out on-the-job training with all Guest Service Receptionists, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles
  • Act as an ambassador of the hotel, promoting a positive image and providing exceptional service to our guests
  • Attend any training courses that may seem beneficial, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering a 5-star service to our guests
  • Customer service orientated, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our guests
  • Experience of Opera, with a strong understanding of the system and its capabilities
  • Excellent IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of the software and its applications
  • Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Team player, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal
