We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation Specialist to join our People Function team at the Greater London Authority (GLA). As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in shaping the GLA's Reward strategy and delivering exceptional service to our employees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation and benefits, with experience in developing and implementing Reward programs in a complex organization. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

About the Role

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive Reward strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff on Reward-related matters, including salary scales, bonuses, and benefits.
  3. Collaborate with finance and procurement colleagues to manage suppliers and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of cross-cutting projects and programs related to Reward, ensuring they reflect best practices, meet legislative requirements, and are efficient and effective.
