Role Overview
Nurse Functional Assessors are required to join Maximus, working in a dynamic environment where you can utilise your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. About the Role
You will conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to comprehend the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily activities. Your comprehensive reports will help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits. As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll work with complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions, chronic pain disorders, and more. You will receive ongoing support and mentorship to ensure your success in this role. The salary for this position is approximately £37,800 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the effects of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life.
  • Produce detailed Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions in determining a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.
