We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning Disability Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with Severe Learning Disabilities.
Your Role
- You will conduct comprehensive behavioural and sleep assessments, developing tailored interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- You will collaborate closely with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure holistic approaches to care.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required.
- Travel across Cheshire to provide timely support to clients.
- Conduct group workshops for parents, promoting positive parenting initiatives.
Our Team
You will be joining an established community team consisting of Learning Disability Nurses, Advanced Clinical Support Workers, Assistant Psychologists, a Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Admin staff.
