At Medacs Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist Nurse to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a fast-paced environment, providing constant monitoring and care for patients in seriously ill or unstable conditions.

About the Role

This Band 5 A&E Nurse position offers flexible hours, with shifts available throughout the day, night, and at weekends. You will have access to competitive pay rates and a range of benefits, including next-day payroll and a supportive working environment.

You will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of dedicated healthcare professionals, utilizing some of the most advanced medical equipment in the country. Your clinical knowledge and experience will enable you to support seriously ill patients and their families during a stressful and uncertain time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in a seriously ill or unstable condition
  • Actively support emergency admissions and their families, communicating clinical information using various methods to ensure effective understanding
  • Responsible for adhering to the NMC professional Code of Conduct
  • Taking blood/fitting a cannula, undertaking patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen level) as patient need dictates throughout the shift
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
  • A flexible attitude
  • The ability to use a computer competently

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
