About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Graduate Psychologist to join our team in Redbridge. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism.

This is a full-time, term-time only position that offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for supporting their academic progress and emotional development, as well as helping with behaviour management in class and around the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students with SEN, particularly Autism
  • Assist with academic progress and emotional development
  • Help with behaviour management in class and around the school
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to create personalised learning plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 1:1 or 2:1 Psychology degree from a leading UK university
  • Previous experience working with SEN children, especially those with Autism
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and confidence in supporting students with special needs
  • A strong understanding of child development and behaviour management
