Mental Health Support Specialist for Schools

We have an exciting opportunity for two Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioners to join our East and West locality teams in North Cumbria.
This role is a great development opportunity for those interested in a career working with children and young people, supporting their mental health and wellbeing.
The postholders will be supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to students (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
The role will involve contributing to locating, preparing and utilising resources for whole school approaches to mental health.
This may involve facilitating school assemblies or small groups using whole school approach resources.
You'll work alongside trained practitioners in CBT who lead therapeutic group interventions.
The salary for this role is £25,920 - £31,982 per annum, depending on experience. This is a positive change for the charity, reflecting our commitment to fair, attractive and progressive pay.
