Job Description

The NHS is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join its team. This role involves working with clients who have personality disorders, providing therapy and assessments, and managing referrals for one of the four NELFT boroughs. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and experience in CBT or DBT.

The salary for this position is £53,755 - £60,504 per annum (pro rata) plus a 15% High Cost Area Supplement.

About the Role
This role is part of the IMPART team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. IMPART provides innovative third-wave CBT therapies to clients with personality disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Professional Lead for IMPART and other teams to provide training and supervision on effective working with individuals with difficulties consistent with PD.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing the IMPART referrals for one of the four NELFT boroughs
* Providing specialist assessments and interventions for clients with a personality disorder
* Offering a range of psychological therapy models of treatment to clients with a personality disorder
* Participating in the management of IMPART as delegated by the Professional Lead for IMPART

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
* Training in CBT or DBT
* Accreditation with the BABCP or equivalent
* Experience of working with personality disorder
