Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Solihull. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working with children and young people in a mental health setting, as well as experience in managing people, projects, and pathways.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing, building on what is being done already.
  • Improving access to mental health support and services, delivering training and workshops for schools and parents, providing consultation to schools on mental health and wellbeing, and individual and group interventions for children and young people experiencing difficulties with managing emotions.
  • Working with other managers to ensure that the service is responsive to local area needs and continues developing in line with transformation plans.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £44,000 - £49,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 26 days annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to a Group Personal Pension.
