Mental Health Team Leader for Children and Young People

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Shire Healthcare, where you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of a mental health support team.
The post holder will work within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMS) setting in East London, offering early interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health presentations.
As a Clinical Supervisor, you will have a significant clinical caseload alongside providing supervision to Educational Mental Health Practitioners. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Hierarchical and Counselling Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration
- Significant CYP experience (either in a CAMHS or educational setting)
- Experience supervising staff
A graduate diploma in the Children and Young People's Mental Health Supervision is required or willingness to undertake the one-year Post Graduate Diploma alongside the role will be considered.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Lena Antoniou, a healthcare recruitment consultant with 19 years of experience and 13 years of recruiting solely within Psychological Therapies.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £51,800 - £58,500 per annum, with benefits including additional leave, company events, company pension, cycle to work scheme, gym membership, health & wellbeing programme, sick pay, UK visa sponsorship, and work from home options.
