Senior Adult Mental Health Specialist in Waltham Forest

We are seeking a Senior Adult Mental Health Specialist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Home Treatment Team, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to adults with mental health needs in Waltham Forest.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) in a relevant specialty or as a fixed-term specialty trainee, with a strong understanding of current developments in mental health care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support to the multidisciplinary team and direct input on clinical cases
- Offer guidance and supervision to the team members
- Work directly with adults and their families, liaising as necessary with community adult consultant psychiatrists and specialty doctors in mental health
- Support the Home Treatment Teams in managing bed occupancy
- Fully GMC Registered with a license to practice
- Section 12 certification or a commitment to work towards this
