We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Psychiatry Specialist to join our Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team, based at Tantallon House, Goodmayes Hospital, Ilford IG3 8XJ.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding career path as a Senior Medical Professional in Mental Health. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide care to adult individuals with mental health needs across Waltham Forest.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support, direct input on clinical cases, guidance, and supervision to junior staff.

You will also have the opportunity to develop links with local acute trusts A&E departments and adult services, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care to adult individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases
  • Offer guidance and supervision to junior staff
  • Develop relationships with local acute trusts A&E departments and adult services

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
  • Section 12 certification or a commitment to work towards this
  • Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
  • At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent) with experience in a specialty training program
