Learning Support Assistant for Challenging Behaviours

Zen Educate is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic learning support assistant to join our team in Stroud. The successful candidate will work part-time, providing support to students aged 5-16 with autism and complex needs.
This role requires a unique blend of patience, creativity, and expertise in managing challenging behaviors. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to think creatively, and have experience working with individuals with autism and complex needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to design and deliver individualized education plans.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with autism and complex needs.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (required for working with children).
