Behaviour Teaching Assistant for Challenging Students

Teach360 is seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support students with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviour, and will be able to provide a calm and empathetic approach to support student success.
About the Role:
The Behaviour Teaching Assistant will work closely with the teaching staff to implement effective behaviour strategies, and will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students with challenging behaviour. Team Teach Training is preferred but not essential.
About the School:
Our PRU provides alternative education for 50 students aged 14-19 who have been excluded from mainstream school. Located in Tower Hamlets, we aim to transform the lives of young people unable to thrive in mainstream education. Our recent Ofsted inspection graded us as 'Outstanding'.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with challenging behaviour
* Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
* Work closely with other professionals to ensure student success
Educational Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant field
* Experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviour
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
