Mentor for Challenging Behaviour Support

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support our students with SEMH needs in a specialist school setting.
Job Description- Support 11-16 year old students displaying challenging behaviour, focusing on emotional regulation and de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with the inclusion team to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Oversee behaviour around the school, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Assist during breaks and ensure students attend lessons, promoting engagement and participation.
- Participate in 'on-calls' for additional behaviour support in lessons and facilitate work with pupils in the reflection space.
- Support the development of emotional intelligence and resilience in students.
Our school caters to young people aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our core purpose is to improve the quality of life for our students and the wider community by nurturing potential.
