Training Coordinator for Care Services

The successful candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in delivering training programs and assessing the needs of staff. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in manual handling, medication administration, and basic care skills.
- Assess the training needs of staff and develop tailored training programs to address these needs.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to Care Professionals.
- Work closely with the office team to ensure all new professionals are fully supported in their first 3 months of employment.
- Identify and agree additional training or development needed to build competence and confidence of Care Professionals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Facilitate introductions between new carers and clients, providing comprehensive training on the practical aspects of delivery.
- Monitor client satisfaction, escalate concerns, and produce monthly reports.
- Identify and communicate upcoming staffing gaps, engage in recruitment, and introduce new hires to clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
