Care Training Manager
At Executive Carers Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join our team as a Care Training Manager. This is a field-based role that involves providing comprehensive training in manual handling, medication administration, and basic care skills to our staff.

We offer a salary from £25,000 per year, along with mileage compensation, opportunities for professional development and career advancement, a work laptop, and a mobile phone.
  • This role includes conducting hands-on training sessions in manual handling techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of both carers and clients.
  • Providing detailed instruction on medication administration, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Teaching basic skills, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic cooking skills, to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
  • Assessing the training needs of staff and developing tailored training programs to address these needs.
  • Supporting and mentoring Care Professionals.
  • Working closely with the office team to ensure all new professionals are fully supported in their first 3 months of employment.
  • Identifying and agreeing additional training or development needed to build competence and confidence of Care Professionals.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH POTENTIAL AND EXISTING CLIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN THEIR CARE.
  • FACILITATING INTRODUCTIONS BETWEEN NEW CARERS AND CLIENTS, PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING ON THE PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF DELIVERY.
  • MONITORING CLIENT SATISFACTION, ESCALATING CONCERNS, AND PRODUCING MONTHLY REPORTS.
  • IDENTIFYING AND COMMUNICATING UPCOMING STAFFING GAPS, ENGAGING IN RECRUITMENT, AND INTRODUCING NEW HIRES TO CLIENTS.
  • MONITORING AND EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TRAINING PROGRAMS AND MAKING NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES.
  • STAYING UPDATED WITH THE LATEST INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND PRACTICES TO ENSURE TRAINING CONTENT IS CURRENT AND RELEVANT.
  • PROVIDING COVER FOR THE ON-CALL PHONE ROTAS BASIS.
We are looking for a Care Training Manager with:
  • Proven experience in a similar training role, preferably within the healthcare or caregiving sector.
  • Strong understanding of manual handling techniques, medication administration, and basic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
  • Ability to work independently and manage training schedules effectively.
  • Certification in manual handling and medication administration training is highly desirable.
  • A driving license and access to your own car.
We expect you to work 37.5 hours per week, on shifts between 07:00-22:00. If you have a strong background in caregiving and are passionate about training, we would love to hear from you.
