We are looking for a highly skilled Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team at SERVICE CARE SOLUTIONS LTD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the assessment of need and development of education, health & care plans that meet the relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

Key Tasks:

  • Assessment Coordination: Co-ordinate the assessment of need and development of education, health & care plans that meet the relevant legislation and Code of Practice.
  • Family Engagement: Engage with individuals with SEND, their families, respecting diversity, supporting choice, and independence to achieve realistic outcomes.
  • Agencies Collaboration: Work with Families First and independent futures to understand needs and enable individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Support Package Management: Negotiate costs, allocate funding, and ensure families are informed of financial responsibilities, maintaining transparency and efficiency.

Requirements:

We require an individual with:

  • NVQ3/equivalent qualification and experience in a relevant discipline, i.e., education, social care, childcare, advice, and guidance or related subject or equivalent experience.

Competitive Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum
