Premises Coordinator

Job Overview: We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Premises Coordinator to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our college premises.
Main Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day maintenance of the college premises, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance.
- Overseeing the opening-up and locking-up procedure of all buildings.
- Maintaining the external presentation of the premises.
- Liaising with cleaners and ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Performing regular checks of equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.
- Lifting, moving, and rearranging equipment and furniture as required.
- Reporting any necessary extra cleaning requirements.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks.
- Conducting regular fire drills and logging results.
- Inspecting fire exit routes and ensuring they are clear of obstructions.
- Carrying out regular emergency lighting tests.
- Disposing of waste and liaising with the Site Manager.
- Researching replacement parts and suggesting purchasing options.
- Completing any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Site Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in facilities maintenance.
- Good English language skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Salary: Estimated £28,000 per annum
