Transform the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the University of Oxford as a key role player.

We seek a high-energy, entrepreneurial talent to manage the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, open to the entire University of Oxford.

The Centre, led by Christ Church and Blenheim Chalcot, aims to nurture early-stage venture development, bridge academic knowledge with practical applications, and cultivate an opportunity-focused approach to work.

The Programme Manager will lead and shape the organisational strategy, delivering the smooth running of initiatives that inspire and accelerate the development of future innovators.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Educational Oversight: Oversee education programmes, vacation schemes, and activities that foster entrepreneurship.
  • Programme Management: Manage multiple programmes, events, and activities efficiently in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Liaise between Christ Church, the student and academic community, and Blenheim Chalcot, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Building Management Responsibilities: Manage the physical premise, 37 St Giles, working with facilities management services and private contractors.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget and financial planning for the Centre, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Operations: Direct the day-to-day operations of the Centre, ensuring smooth administrative processes.
  • Management Board Representation: Attend and contribute to governance and executive decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for entrepreneurship, thrive in fast-moving environments, and have:

  • Programme Management Experience: Proven experience in managing programmes in academic or entrepreneurial settings.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to work collaboratively with academic and corporate stakeholders.
  • Financial and Budgeting Knowledge: Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Communication and Liaison Skills: Excellent communication skills to drive marketing initiatives and liaise with diverse teams.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency with digital tools and platforms that support programme administration.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: An understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation practices.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. Location: Oxford, UK.
