An exciting opportunity is now available for a Patient Coordinator due to an internal promotion of staff based in the Oxford area. It is desirable that you have previous experience working in a GP Practice or Health Care setting.

**Details**:

- £11.46 per hour
- Contracted hours 16 hours per week
- **Shift pattern**:

- Weekdays varied covering working hours between 08.15am - 06:00pm.
- There is an expectation in the business to cover additional shifts due to holidays and sickness.

**Duties Includes**:

- Processing new registrations
- Taking messages and passing on information, initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients
- Opening up/locking up of practice premises
- Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail/ Filing and retrieving paperwork,
- Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures,
- Providing clerical assistance to practice staff as required, including word/data processing, filing, photocopying, and scanning. Previous experience using EMIS web clinical system, DocMan 10 and Accurx, is desirable. However training and ongoing support will be provided.

Opportunities to progress within the surgery.

You will also have the confidence to work independently as well as working in a busy GP Surgery environment.
