**Job Title**:Patient Pathway Co-ordinator
**Location**:John Radcliffe Hospital, OX3 9DU
**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
**Trust Location**:Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Add incoming referrals to the waiting list on EPR within 24 hours and pass for clinical triage where necessary.
- Schedule endoscopy admissions on EPR, assigning appointment dates appropriately in accordance with clinical priority and waiting times, liaising with the patient and ensuring they have all relevant information.
- Monitor and manage DNAs (Did Not Attends) within the department, ensuring that appointments are rescheduled, or requests are sent back to the referrer where necessary in line with Trust and local policies.
- Daily administrative tasks including taking and making inbound and outbound calls via Netcall and using Accurx system when needed.
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office
- Previous NHS and EPR experience (desirable)
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
