Clinical Co-ordinator for Cancer Outpatients

The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Co-ordinator to join its Cancer and Haematology Outpatient Department at Churchill Hospital in Oxford.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to provide administrative support and housekeeping services to our busy outpatient department. As a Clinical Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing our online clinic room booking system, providing support to senior nurses with computer systems, and ensuring the department maintains high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bookwise clinic room booking system, including maintaining day-to-day bookings, auditing current use, planning for the future, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to senior nurses, including coordinating transport arrangements for patients, providing IT services, and undertaking housekeeping duties.
- Ensure the department maintains high standards of cleanliness, including monitoring the general environment, co-ordinating necessary repairs, and maintaining records of reported defects.
- Respond to complaints and concerns from patients and relatives regarding facilities and housekeeping services.
Requirements
- GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent qualification
- NVQ Level 2 or similar experience
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of electronic patient record (EPR)
- NVQ Level 3
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
