About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Officer to join our team at Wellford Gardens, a brand new luxury care home located in Wheatley, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a first-class service to our residents, ensuring the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard and providing a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for them to live in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs to furniture and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Perform internal redecorations, including wallpapering, painting, and varnishing, to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Log necessary maintenance works on Trust systems and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct ad-hoc gardening duties to maintain the exterior of the home to a good standard.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept pristine and in excellent working order, performing routine checks before and after each journey.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
About You

We are looking for an individual with formal training and practical experience in a maintenance and facilities trade. Organisational skills for scheduling and prioritising maintenance tasks effectively are essential, as well as a positive attitude and commitment to providing a first-class environment.
