Job Summary

This role involves working as a teaching assistant in a SEN school in the North West, supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a teaching assistant, particularly in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • You will work full-time, five days a week, supporting students from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4.
  • You must hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3).
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • You must have previous experience of working with children in the last two years.
  • You must have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • You must have experience working with pupils across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4.
  • You must have previous experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • You must provide two references from previous roles working with children.
  • You must have a current DBS registration with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
