We are seeking a Teacher for Students with Social and Emotional Needs to join our dedicated team at a primary school in Islington. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000-£48,000 per year, depending on experience.

This school provides a nurturing environment where children with SEMH needs can thrive. As a Teacher for Students with Social and Emotional Needs, you will work closely with the school's leadership team to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs.

  • Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching for students with SEMH needs in line with the curriculum.
  • Contribute to whole-school strategies for promoting mental health and well-being.
Requirements

We are looking for a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent holder with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that arise when working with SEMH children.

  • The ability to adapt and differentiate teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs in a primary school setting.
