Job Overview

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is a dynamic education provider dedicated to delivering high-quality support services to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Islington and play a key role in supporting teenagers with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with SEMH needs, helping them develop coping strategies and building their resilience. You will also work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver a comprehensive support package that meets the unique needs of each student.

'Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted interventions to support students with SEMH needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements

To be successful as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff. You should also have a deep understanding of SEMH needs and be able to adapt your support strategies to meet the unique requirements of each student.

Salary and Benefits
