Job Title: SEMH Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting. As a SEMH Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, counsellors, and other support staff to provide individualized support to students who require additional help with their emotional and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Work with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Support students with trauma and social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Graduated with a minimum 2:1 from a Top 30 UK University
  • Experience working with vulnerable teenagers or children with SEMH needs
  • Positive and uplifting personality
  • Patient, caring, and compassionate
