This SEN Teaching Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational, social, and emotional development of students with Special Educational Needs. As a key member of the school team, you will support the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities for SEN students, providing one-to-one support to help them achieve their learning goals.

Job Duties:
  • Supporting SEN Students: Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to develop their educational, social, and emotional skills.
  • Collaboration with the Class Teacher: Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Behaviour Management and IEPs: Assist with behaviour management and implement individual education plans (IEPs) to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Possess GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
