Social Emotional Educator Job Details

We are seeking a Social Emotional Educator to join our team and support students in a Primary School in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of the school community, you will work alongside qualified SEMH professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide high-quality support to students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as a Full-time term time only SEMH Teaching Assistant, supporting students 1:1 and through intervention sessions who require extra support. This highly rewarding role involves helping de-escalate challenging situations with a calm and measured approach, ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a Top 20 University
  • Experience working with children with SEN or SEMH is essential
