Senior Business Expansion Executive

We are seeking a Business Expansion Manager to drive business growth and expansion in the water sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and/or business development, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the water/marine industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan designed to meet and exceed our targets for the UK market. This will involve identifying new business opportunities through networking, social media, and events, as well as collaborating with internal teams to enhance our offerings and organize impactful local events.
The ideal candidate will possess a sharp analytical mind, a knack for strategic sales planning, and a deep understanding of the industry. You will be comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a proven track record of success.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a strategic business plan to achieve our targets;
- Overseeing all sales and BD activities, including research, meetings, presentations, quotes, and offers;
- Proactively identifying new opportunities through various channels;
- Collaborating with internal teams to move sales opportunities through the cycle efficiently and effectively;
- Data Management - ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sales pipeline data in relevant systems;
- Support and development - offering support and sharing knowledge with colleagues as needed;
- Cross-selling and upselling our products and services to existing customers.
The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a performance-related bonus scheme, health insurance, and a generous pension scheme.
