Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front Office Team Member to join our team at Novotel Edinburgh Centre. As a Front Office Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure a smooth and seamless check-in and check-out process, handling all guest queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Work closely with the front office team to maintain a high level of service quality, ensuring that all guests receive a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our hotel's facilities and services, using this knowledge to promote and upsell to our guests.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a front office environment, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing a memorable experience for our guests.
