Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Role in Adult Mental Health

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing individual and group clinical work, promoting psychological ideas, and contributing to service development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for clients with complex mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders
- Contribute to service development, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery
- Consult, advise, and supervise colleagues on psychological aspects of patient care
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and data to inform service planning and evaluation
Requirements:
- Good Honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) and post-graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist by the HCPC and eligible for Chartered status with BPS
- Experience of working with clients across various settings, including adult mental health
- Commitment to developing specialist area expertise through significant training and personal study
Salary and Benefits:
We offer an attractive salary of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package, including contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
