Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Derbyshire Adult CMHTs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group clinical work, promoting psychological ideas, and contributing to service development.

The ideal candidate will have a good Honours degree in Psychology, a post-graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, and eligible for Chartered status of BPS. Experience of working with clients across various settings and a commitment to developing specialist expertise are also essential.

As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health problems. You will assess, formulate, and implement plans for treatment, using evidence-based methods and models.

  • Develop and maintain links with other professionals, including Social Services and General Practitioners.
  • Attend clinical meetings, case reviews, and conferences as necessary.
  • Carry out other clinical duties as agreed with the Chief Psychologist and Lead Psychologists.
