**Job Overview:** Teaching Assistant for Students with Complex Needs

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support students with a range of needs, including MLD, SLD, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and associated difficulties.

The successful candidate will work closely with our specialist team at an independent Special day school, providing high-quality support to students in their learning, development, and progress across various curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in their educational journey, promoting equality, diversity, and respect for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective education and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and embody the values of our client school.
  • Support students with complex medical conditions and sensory/physical impairments, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes well-being and academic success.
Requirements
  • Able to work towards obtaining formal qualifications and take responsibility for own development (fully funded by the school).
  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Creative problem-solvers with a solution-focused approach, educated to at least Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.

Salary Information

Salary: £25.00 per hour - dependent on experience and qualifications.
