Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our team at CHAMP Cargosystems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation
    • Respond to inbound sales leads from various sources, including our website, email, and chat services.
    • Provide timely and professional written acknowledgement to leads.
    • Arrange initial contact with prospects via Teams and conduct thorough questionnaires to gather valuable insights.
    • Perform business checks to ensure lead viability.
  • Opportunity Creation
    • Create opportunities within our CRM system and document all steps and information prior to handover to sales.
    • Send standard pricing and information to prospects for out-of-the-box services.
  • Contract Management
    • Provide standard contracts or amendments to prospective customers for out-of-the-box services.
    • Follow up with customers until contract signing.
  • Business Development
    • Proactively research and seek out new business opportunities in the market.
    • Lead or coordinate internal sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Administrative Support
    • Update CRM and other sales and financial systems as required.
    • Generate sales collateral and templates.
    • Assist with customer events.
  • Process Improvement
    • Seek and recommend sales process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working within the air cargo transport industry.
  • Skills
    • Confident and strong communicator.
    • Broad understanding of the air cargo industry.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office products.
  • Education
    • High school education.
