Sales Support and Administration Professional

Role Overview
CHAMP Cargosystems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers and prospects, ensuring seamless communication and efficient resolution of their queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial Lead Response
- Respond to all inbound sales leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide written acknowledgement within agreed timeframe.
- Lead Qualification and Opportunity Creation
- Perform business checks on incoming leads to ensure their viability.
- Create opportunities within our CRM system and document all steps and information prior to handover to sales.
- Customer Communication and Contract Management
- Arrange for initial contact via Teams and seek to gain valuable insights from the prospect through the first contact conversation and use of the questionnaire.
- Send standard pricing and information direct to the prospect or customer for simpler out-of-the-box services.
- Provide standard contracts or amendments to the prospective customer reflecting standard or agreed pricing.
- Follow up with prospective customers until contract is signed.
- Business Development and Support
- Proactively research and seek out new business opportunities in the market.
- Lead or coordinate internal sales initiatives and campaigns, including follow-up on any marketing campaign or future webinar within the agreed timeline.
- Provide general support to the sales team, including updating CRM and other sales and financial systems, generating sales collateral and templates, and assisting in customer events.
- Administrative Support
- Update our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) as required, including qualifying, creating opportunities, and updating assisting to ensure all opportunities are correctly updated regardless of owner.
- Produce and report performance/status and quality reports as required.
- Administer our Sales Enablement tool, supported by Marketing.
- Provide general administrative support to the VP Sales as required.
Requirements
- Experience and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within the Air Cargo Transport Industry, either with Cargo Ground Handling, Airline – Cargo Division, Freight Forwarder, or GSA – Cargo.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be very useful but not essential.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PPT, and Excel.
- Education and Qualifications
- High School education.
- Must have a high standard of written and spoken English.
